Jeremy’s Story

Jeremy was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer in 2023, he underwent treatment and some months later he was cancer free. We were granted several glorious months without that cancer when it returned. The prognosis is terminal, but we continue to maintain faith and trust and that keeps one foot in front of the other. We use the word we, because we are a family here at KTS, and we are doing this with Jeremy making sure he is wrapped in love and support. Jeremy and Marsy had the vision for KTS and together they are making it happen, upon news of Jeremy’s diagnosis, right away it was declared that we would honor Jeremy in this life, and unanimously named our facility the Jeremy Maucione Center for Hope. That is exactly what we harbor at KTS-HOPE. Hope for better tomorrows, hope for a better path for our community, hope that substance use lessens it’s group on our people. Jeremy is and will always be a pillar of this work and place.
